Core is an experimental short film based on the transcendent power of BDSM and the state that can occur during. If one were to think of BDSM as words in a sentence, Core represents the spaces between the words with the use of repetition, rhythm, and language through movement.
Sound artist Leslie Deere created the film’s ambient soundscape to emphasize these intimate moments through the droning rhythms of processed harp and cello recordings. Her composition alters with each scene to express the energy of each fetish.
