Natasha Gornik (b. 1976) is a Brooklyn-based visual artist. Originally from Chicago, she has spent the past two decades photographing, filming and writing about cultures she is deeply invested in from the inside. Her interest lies heavily in the exploration of intimacy between photographer and subject. She has created a large body of work that has exhibited worldwide, most recently at the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art in New York City. The work has been covered by outlets including Vogue Japan, Diane Pernet, and Art Review.
